Compensation

Faculty/staff salaries at Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ are competitive with local and regional independent schools. The Colorado Springs School’s Board of Trustees views the area of compensation for faculty/staff as one of its top priorities. The below-listed employer paid products are for full time employees.

Medical and Dental Insurance

Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ pays 85% of the premium for individual coverage; faculty/staff members pay a portion of the premium to add dependents to the plan. Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ offers a competitive full suite of medical and dental products.

Life Insurance

Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ pays the premium for life insurance in the amount of $50,000 for a base policy, while employees have the option of purchasing an additional multiplier policy up to $200,000.

TIAA/CREF Retirement Program

Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ contributes five percent of a faculty/staff member’s salary after a two-year waiting period unless the faculty/staff member is already contributing to TIAA-Cref. Faculty/staff members may opt to contribute additional pre-tax dollars up to the IRS maximum.

Disability

Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ offers employer paid short-term and long-term disability policies.

Tuition Remission

Ä¢¹½´«Ã½ offers significant tuition remission to faculty dependents, and the school encourages faculty with children ages three through grade 12 to apply to Ä¢¹½´«Ã½.
